DuPont launched an integrated direct-lithium-extraction solution combining membranes and ion-exchange resins to improve lithium recovery and purity. The company expanded its Liveo portfolio for biopharmaceutical applications and introduced solutions for electric vehicles and battery-energy-storage systems. DuPont said its direct-lithium-extraction opportunity is in a market of approximately $200 million and requires no incremental capital because the offering uses existing reverse-osmosis and ion-exchange capabilities. In Water, ultra-pure-water products for chip manufacturers are growing at more than 20%, supported by AI and advanced-node demand.
