Deere is recalling more than 375 employees to its Moline and East Moline, Iowa, facilities, including 150 for Seeding and Cylinder operations and approximately 225 for Harvester Works. The company plans to build dealer inventory ahead of upcoming planting and harvesting cycles and maintain customer service during future labor negotiations with the United Auto Workers. Deere has brought back or hired more than 800 employees across Iowa and Illinois since January, after laying off more than 2,000 workers since April 2024 amid an agricultural downturn.
