Danaher appointed Julie Sawyer Montgomery as President and CEO effective October 1, 2026. Montgomery, currently an executive vice president and leader of the Diagnostics platform, will succeed Rainer Blair, who is retiring after six years as CEO. Blair will remain as a senior adviser during the transition, while Montgomery will also join Danaher’s Board of Directors.
