DANAHER CORP /DE/ · 2026-10-21 · Importance 18 · Surprise 14 · In source text

Foreign currency had no significant effect on reported sales in the third quarter of 2026 and increased reported sales by approximately 1.5% for the first nine months of 2026 versus the comparable 2025 period. The nine-month benefit primarily reflected exchange-rate movements between the U.S. dollar, euro and other major currencies. Danaher remains exposed to translation risk on international sales and transactional risk from customer and intercompany transactions denominated in currencies other than the applicable functional currency. Management expects a stronger U.S. dollar relative to September 25, 2026 rates to adversely affect sales and results of operations, while a weaker dollar would have the opposite effect.
