Disney’s Experiences segment continues investing in domestic and international theme park and resort expansion, new attractions, cruise ships, capital improvements and technology. Capital expenditures for Experiences increased to $5.596 billion from $4.933 billion year over year, driven by higher spending on new theme park attractions. The company expects fiscal 2026 capital expenditures of approximately $9 billion, with the increase attributable primarily to theme park and resort expansion and new attractions, partly offset by lower cruise ship fleet expansion spending.
