Total consolidated electric sales increased 0.4% year over year to 129,896 GWh for the six months ended June 30, 2026, while retail sales increased 0.4% to 107,098 GWh. Duke Energy Progress reported the strongest consolidated sales growth among the larger electric utilities at 1.4%, whereas Duke Energy Indiana declined 5.5% and Duke Energy Florida increased 1.3%. Duke Energy Ohio wholesale and other sales increased 154.3% to 628 GWh, while Duke Energy Indiana wholesale and other sales declined 31.0% to 1,686 GWh. Electric customer counts increased 1.4% overall to 8.7 million, led by 1.7% growth in Duke Energy Carolinas customers and 1.6% growth in both Duke Energy Progress and Duke Energy Florida.
