Duke Energy priced a public offering of 35 million Equity Units at $50 per unit, generating gross proceeds of approximately $1.75 billion. Each Equity Unit includes a forward contract to purchase Duke Energy common stock and beneficial ownership interests in Remarketable Senior Notes due 2032 and 2036. The offering is expected to close on Aug. 13, 2026, with approximately $1.719 billion of net proceeds. Duke plans to use the proceeds to redeem junior subordinated debentures, repay commercial paper and fund general corporate purposes.
