Severe storms in Greater Cincinnati left more than 160,000 Duke Energy customers without power across southwest Ohio and Northern Kentucky as of August 11. Fallen trees, broken poles, and damaged equipment slowed restoration efforts, while additional severe weather threatened to extend outages. Duke restored power to more than 171,000 customers and deployed over 1,000 additional workers to support repairs.
