Treatment Volume Trends
DAVITA INC. · 2026-08-04 · Importance 43 · Surprise 32
DaVita’s U.S. dialysis treatment volume increased in the second quarter of 2026, with 7.23 million treatments versus 7.03 million in the first quarter and average treatments per day rising 1.1% to 92,649. Second-quarter treatment volume was slightly ahead of expectations because patient census was better than expected, primarily reflecting lower mortality. Growth was partly offset by lower incoming patient transfers and higher missed treatments. Year-to-date treatments increased 0.2% to 14.26 million, while normalized non-acquired treatment growth was 0.3% in the second quarter.
