Cash provided by operating activities increased $104 million to $1.175 billion in the first six months of 2026, primarily from favorable working capital and higher earnings, partly offset by $60 million of Ovivo employee incentive payments. Ecolab held $5.1 billion of cash and equivalents at June 30, 2026, including $554 million outside the United States, to support the CoolIT Systems acquisition. The company had no commercial paper outstanding and no borrowings under its $2.0 billion revolving credit facility, which expires in March 2030. The U.S. and Euro commercial-paper programs were rated A-2 by S&P, P-2 by Moody’s and F-1 by Fitch.
