Effective January 1, 2026, Ecolab divided the former Light & Heavy operating segment into Heavy Water, Light Water and High-Tech, all within the Global Water reportable segment. The revised Global Water portfolio also includes Food & Beverage and Paper, while Global Institutional & Specialty continues to comprise Institutional and Specialty. The company now operates nine operating segments aggregated into four reportable segments based on product activities, end-use markets, distribution channels and related economic characteristics. Management specifically identified accelerating High-Tech, Food & Beverage and Light Water growth as drivers of Global Water’s second-quarter organic sales performance.
