Safety & Productivity sales increased 3% in the third quarter to $552 million, but underlying sales rose only 2% because 4% higher price was offset by 2% lower volume. Underlying sales increased 4% in the Americas and 1% in Asia, Middle East and Africa, while Europe declined 6%. For the first nine months, sales increased 3% to $1,601 million, with 5% higher price offset by 3% lower volume. Regional underlying sales were up 4% in the Americas, down 5% in Europe and down 1% in Asia, Middle East and Africa.
