Technology customers continued investing in artificial intelligence infrastructure, driving strong demand for airfreight, road freight, warehousing and distribution services. Second-quarter 2026 airfreight revenue increased 57%, while customs brokerage and other services revenue increased 27% year over year. Airfreight tonnage increased 14% in the quarter and 10% in the first half, primarily from exports out of North Asia and South Asia. Road freight and warehousing demand from AI infrastructure customers was particularly strong in North America and Europe, including higher-volume specialized services with higher rates.
