PTFI’s Grasberg Block Cave underground mine in Indonesia remained affected by the September 2025 external mud rush incident. For the six months ended June 30, 2026, the incident generated $172 million of idle facility costs and $690 million of idle facility and restoration costs, or $2.93 per pound of copper. The disruption materially affected operating capacity and required restoration activities at PTFI’s mining and downstream processing facilities. PTFI’s Indonesia operations also reported copper sales of 1,052 million recoverable pounds and gold sales of 1,460 thousand recoverable ounces during the period.
