Selling, general and administrative expense increased to $684 million in the second quarter of 2026 from $572 million in the prior-year period, an increase of approximately 20%. Six-month SG&A increased to $1.289 billion from $1.130 billion, while six-month asset impairments rose to $104 million from $2 million. Acquisition, integration and other costs totaled $237 million in the quarter and $405 million year to date, including $172 million of quarterly enterprise transformation costs and $265 million year to date. The company also recorded $321 million of quarterly purchase accounting amortization, compared with $172 million in the prior-year period, primarily reflecting acquired intangible assets.
