FIS said it is retaining share and winning new business in large-bank issuing processing despite concerns about Visa Pismo. Management emphasized that Total Issuing Solutions has the scale, product breadth and migration capabilities required by the largest financial institutions, including the ability to convert accounts at scale without a failed deconversion or migration. FIS said it wins more than 85% of competitions involving large financial institutions with over one million accounts. Management characterized Visa Pismo as focused on small and midsized banks and fintechs rather than FIS’s large-bank market.
