The CPP acquisition will integrate design and manufacturing for enhanced airfoil technology applicable to current aircraft engines, including LEAP, and next-generation engines. GE Aerospace said the proprietary technology enables cooler engine temperatures, supporting engine durability and efficiency. The integration is expected to shorten development cycles by using AI and connected data and to improve manufacturing readiness for new technology deployment. CPP currently produces castings for major commercial aircraft programs and key defense engine and missile programs.
