Gilead completed its acquisition of Tubulis for $3.15 billion in upfront consideration, adding antibody-drug conjugate assets including GS-8824 and an ADC development platform. It also completed the acquisition of Ouro Medicines for $1.675 billion upfront, bringing the investigational gamgertamig BCMAxCD3 T-cell engager for autoimmune diseases. The Ouro transaction was completed with Lakefront, which equally shared the upfront payment and will equally share contingent milestone payments, subject to customary adjustments. Separately, Gilead's second-quarter acquired IPR&D expense was $11.2 billion, including $7.0 billion for Arcellx, $3.1 billion for Tubulis and $1.0 billion for Ouro Medicines, net of the Lakefront collaboration.
