Gilead inaugurated a 182,000-square-foot Research Center at its Foster City headquarters on September 8, 2026. The facility will support oncology, inflammation, and research data science and is designed to accommodate approximately 325 employees, including 260 laboratory scientists. The center is part of Gilead’s planned $32 billion investment in U.S. research, development, and manufacturing through 2030 and is expected to achieve LEED Gold certification.
