Gilead and the Pan American Health Organization agreed to expand access to twice-yearly lenacapavir, marketed as Yeztugo, for HIV prevention across all PAHO Member States in Latin America and the Caribbean. Fourteen countries not covered by existing voluntary licensing agreements will be able to procure the drug through PAHO’s regional purchasing system. Gilead is also exploring local production of lenacapavir in Brazil, broadening the partnership’s regional supply strategy.
