Gilead has an alliance with Lakefront Biotherapeutics supporting development of gamgertamig, a T-cell engager for immune-mediated diseases. Lakefront plans to begin additional autoimmune basket studies in early 2027 and registrational trials for immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) and autoimmune hemolytic anemia (AIHA) later in 2027. The program follows Lakefront’s restructuring of legacy CAR-T programs and acquisition of assets from Ouro Medicines.
