Alphabet held $242.5 billion in cash, cash equivalents, and short-term marketable securities as of June 30, 2026. Operating cash flow increased to $84.9 billion for the first six months from $63.9 billion in the prior-year period, reflecting higher customer cash receipts partly offset by higher operating payments. Investing cash use increased to $145.8 billion, primarily because of technical infrastructure property purchases, marketable securities purchases, and acquisitions. Alphabet stated that cash, securities, operating cash flow, and financing activities should fund operating and capital commitments for at least the next 12 months.
