Google signed an agreement with Georgia Power to upgrade two nuclear plants, potentially adding 96 megawatts of electricity capacity for data centers and other large users. The arrangement is intended to support surging electricity demand associated with data-center expansion while providing a cleaner and more reliable power supply. Separately, Kairos Power selected Samsung C&T to help build a 50-megawatt demonstration reactor targeted for completion by 2030 for Google.
