Google Search & other revenue increased $9.1 billion year over year in the second quarter of 2026, driven by more search queries from mobile adoption and usage, higher advertiser spending, and improvements in ad formats and delivery. YouTube ads revenue increased $1.3 billion, benefiting from increased advertiser spending on direct-response and brand advertising products. Google Network revenue declined $51 million, primarily because of lower AdSense revenue, partly offset by higher AdMob revenue. Search monetization is also affected by advertiser competition for keywords, device and geographic mix, product and policy changes, and traffic growth in emerging markets relative to mature markets.
