Louisville Ladder recalled more than 1.7 million attic stairway ladders because bolts could break and create fall and injury risks. The products were sold through Home Depot, Lowe’s, Amazon, and other retailers, were manufactured in Mexico, and were sold from 2012 through 2026. Customers were instructed to stop using the ladders and request a free repair kit; coverage includes reported serious injuries involving the head, neck, and back.
