Acquisition Strategy and Expansion
HENRY SCHEIN INC · 2026-08-04 · Importance 29 · Surprise 30
Henry Schein states that its acquisition strategy is focused on high-growth, high-margin businesses aligned with its BOLD+1 strategy. Targeted acquisitions are intended to add customers and sales teams, expand the geographic footprint by entering emerging markets or building scale in existing markets, and provide access to new products and technologies. The company’s investing cash outflows declined to $128 million in the six months ended June 27, 2026 from $197 million in the prior-year period, primarily because of lower acquisition activity. Management believes cash, debt-market access, equity-market access and existing credit facilities provide sufficient liquidity for foreseeable capital needs.
