Second-quarter comparable RevPAR growth was strongest in Austin at 54.7%, Washington, D.C. (CBD) at 16.5%, Northern Virginia at 15.8%, Maui at 13.6%, and Miami at 13.1%. Comparable Total RevPAR increased more than 10% in Washington, D.C. (CBD), Maui, Oahu, Northern Virginia, Austin, and Chicago. Weakness was concentrated in New Orleans, where year-to-date RevPAR and Total RevPAR declined 19.3% and 14.3%, respectively, and in Denver, Seattle, and Oahu on selected measures. Year-to-date international RevPAR increased 9.8% and international Total RevPAR rose 12.3%, ahead of domestic growth of 5.6% and 5.2%.
