Comparable hotel RevPAR increased 7.0% in the second quarter and 5.7% year-to-date, driven by higher room rates, slight occupancy growth, strong transient leisure demand at resorts, FIFA World Cup matches and robust group business. Comparable Total RevPAR rose 5.9% in the quarter and 5.3% year-to-date, with additional growth from food and beverage spending. Transient revenue increased 6.9% in the quarter and 6.2% year-to-date, while group revenue increased 7.4% and 4.8%, respectively, supported by rate growth, event-related demand and higher group room nights. Demand growth was partially offset at the consolidated level by hotel dispositions.
