INTERNATIONAL FLAVORS & FRAGRANCES INC · 2026-08-04 · Importance 49 · Surprise 32
Second-quarter Taste sales rose 4% on a comparable currency-neutral basis, driven primarily by volume and price increases in Flavors serving savory foods, beverages, sweets, dairy, food service and alternative-protein applications. Health & Biosciences comparable currency-neutral sales increased 5%, primarily because of volume growth across business units supplying enzymes, cultures, probiotics and specialty ingredients for food, home and personal care, animal nutrition and grain-processing customers. Scent comparable currency-neutral sales increased 8%, led by volume growth in Fragrance Compounds used in perfumes and household and personal-care products, partly offset by lower Fragrance Ingredients volumes. For the first six months, comparable currency-neutral sales increased 3% in Taste, 5% in Health & Biosciences and 5% in Scent, with Scent’s growth led by Fragrance Compounds while other Scent business units declined.
