Intel announced Crescent Island, its first GPU built on the Xe3P architecture, targeting data center inference workloads with emphasis on low power, high throughput and optimized AI inference performance. The company positions Crescent Island as part of a targeted annual cadence of inference-optimized GPUs to meet enterprise data center needs. Intel is also developing Jaguar Shores as a next-generation GPU architecture intended to provide customers greater flexibility and scalability for demanding AI applications.
