Since April 2024, EireOg Innovations has filed eleven patent complaints against Intel customers in the Eastern and Western Districts of Texas involving products containing Intel CPUs. Intel is indemnifying AWS, Cisco, Dell, HPE, IBM, Lenovo, and Oracle in cases involving three patents. EireOg alleges past and future damages exceeding $2.0 billion across the cases. In April 2026, a jury found no infringement by Cisco and found the factual predicate supporting Intel’s license defense, after which the remaining cases were stayed pending post-trial proceedings and any appeal.
