Hyperscaler Server Demand
INTEL CORP · 2026-07-24 · Importance 64 · Surprise 56
DCAI server revenue increased $2.0 billion in Q2 2026 and $2.7 billion year to date, driven primarily by higher server average selling prices and demand. Server ASPs rose 48% in Q2 and 38% year to date, mainly because of a higher mix of premium products, with demand-based pricing actions providing a smaller contribution. Server volume increased 9% in Q2 and 2% year to date, primarily due to higher hyperscaler demand. Demand exceeded Intel’s available server supply because of internal capacity constraints, and Intel expects industry-wide supply constraints to persist into 2027 despite adding factory capacity.
Key facts
- Server volume increased 9% compared to Q2 2025 and 2% compared to YTD 2025, primarily driven by higher hyperscaler demand. source
