Client Demand and Inventory Trends
INTEL CORP · 2026-07-24 · Importance 57 · Surprise 48 · In source text
CCPG client revenue increased despite notebook and desktop volume declines of 8% in Q2 2026 and 10% year to date, as average selling prices rose 27% and 22%, respectively. Premium products represented a larger share of sales, while demand-based pricing actions contributed to a lesser extent and partly offset higher input costs. Market demand exceeded available client product supply during both periods because of industry-wide supply constraints. Intel expects these constraints to ease during the second half of 2026, although it recorded an inventory-related charge to align product mix with customer demand.
