Automotive OEM organic revenue declined 0.4% in the second quarter and 0.6% year to date, compared with worldwide auto-build declines of flat and 1%, respectively. European organic revenue fell 5.3% in the quarter and 2.7% year to date, primarily because of customer mix and product line simplification. Asia Pacific grew 3.1% in the quarter and 2.9% year to date, supported by market growth and penetration gains in India. China revenue outperformed declining auto builds, helped by customer mix and electric-vehicle growth, although foreign automotive manufacturers’ China builds fell 31% in the quarter and 23% year to date.
