Johnson & Johnson received U.S. FDA 510(k) clearance for MONARCH QUEST 3, a software update to its MONARCH robotically assisted bronchoscopy platform. The update adds enhanced planning, navigation and targeting, including a 3D compass overlay and AI-powered lung-nodule segmentation for biopsy procedures. MONARCH QUEST 3 integrates with the Polyphonic digital ecosystem and strengthens J&J MedTech’s positioning in robotic bronchoscopy as competition increases.
