Johnson & Johnson reported final overall-survival results from the Phase 3 PAPILLON study of intravenous RYBREVANT (amivantamab-vmjw) plus carboplatin-pemetrexed in first-line advanced non-small cell lung cancer. The study focused on patients with EGFR exon 20 insertion mutations, a population with a historical five-year survival rate of approximately 8%. RYBREVANT plus chemotherapy delivered the longest reported median overall survival for this patient group versus chemotherapy alone. The regimen’s dual targeting of EGFR and MET supports differentiated positioning in the targeted lung-cancer market.
