Johnson & Johnson reported new Phase 3 MajesTEC-3 analyses for TECVAYLI plus DARZALEX FASPRO in relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma patients who had received one to three prior lines of therapy. Modeling estimated that approximately 87% of patients treated in the second-line setting could have mortality risk and projected life expectancy comparable to an age-matched general population. A separate analysis attributed the survival benefit to a 90% reduction in multiple myeloma progression risk versus standard of care, with no significant difference in non-relapse mortality. The model projected median overall survival with the combination to be nearly four times longer than with dexamethasone plus pomalidomide or bortezomib.
