Frontier-Market Debt Index Launch

JPMorgan plans to launch its GBI-EM Edge frontier-market local-currency government bond index by the end of September 2026. The index will track approximately $330 billion of debt across 26 countries, including markets from Albania to Zambia. Country weights will be capped at 8%, supporting broader investor access to higher-yielding local-currency markets.
