Firmwide average loans increased 10% year over year to approximately $1.5 trillion, predominantly driven by higher CIB and AWM loans. Average Banking & Payments loans in CIB increased 13% year over year and 5% sequentially, while AWM average loans increased 18% year over year and 6% sequentially. Period-end loans rose to $1.54 trillion from $1.49 trillion at December 31, 2025, reflecting higher wholesale loans in CIB due to higher client demand and higher securities-based lending in AWM due to higher client demand. JPMorgan provided or renewed approximately $1.7 trillion of credit and capital for corporations and non-U.S. government entities during the first six months of 2026.
