The wholesale credit portfolio increased 8.4% to $1,673.6 billion at June 30, 2026 from $1,544.4 billion at December 31, 2025, including $900.8 billion of loans and $622.8 billion of lending-related commitments. Nonperforming wholesale exposure decreased $398 million to $6.1 billion, primarily from paydowns, charge-offs and loan sales in Real Estate and Technology, Media & Telecommunications, partly offset by downgrades in Consumer & Retail and Industrials. Criticized exposure increased to $50.3 billion from $48.5 billion, representing approximately 3.3% of total wholesale credit exposure, with the increase concentrated in Commercial and Industrial exposures. Investment-grade retained loans totaled $576.2 billion, or approximately 68% of retained wholesale loans.
