Total derivative notional amounts increased to $65.8 trillion at June 30, 2026 from $50.6 trillion at December 31, 2025, a 29.9% increase. Interest-rate contract notionals rose to $39.0 trillion from $29.5 trillion, while foreign-exchange contract notionals increased to $20.5 trillion from $15.6 trillion. Equity contract notionals increased to $4.0 trillion from $3.4 trillion, and credit derivatives increased to $1.6 trillion from $1.4 trillion. Trading-asset and liability derivative fair values also increased, with gross receivables rising to $690.6 billion and gross payables to $708.6 billion at June 30, 2026.
