Cash provided by operations increased to $1.7 billion for the six months ended June 30, 2026 from $1.1 billion in the prior year. The improvement was driven primarily by an insurance recovery related to a previous acquisition and favorable operating working-capital changes. Cash used for investing increased to $765 million from $312 million, primarily because of higher planned capital spending. Capital spending rose to $776 million from $401 million, and full-year capital spending is expected to be approximately $1.3 billion.
