Leidos won an $88 million NSWC contract to develop experimental hypersonic glide vehicles as real-world testbeds for high-speed flight technologies. Under a $350 million U.S. Air Force modification, the company will provide low-band surveillance radar infrastructure and signal-processing software designed to address low-observable assets and electronic countermeasures. Leidos also secured a $270 million CBP contract to deliver up to 100 Medium Energy Mobile inspection systems for scanning vehicles and cargo for contraband, drugs, and weapons.
