On July 4, 2025, the U.S. government enacted the OBBBA, which changes Medicaid and Affordable Care Act regulations and federal healthcare funding. Labcorp stated that reduced insurance coverage could decrease utilization of diagnostic testing services and revenue. The company currently believes the potential reduction is unlikely to have a material impact on future operating results, but will continue evaluating effects as provisions become effective through 2028.
