The Lowe's Foundation launched the Building Futures Skilled Trades Coalition with NVIDIA, Bank of America, AT&T, Carrier, General Motors, DEWALT and Duke Energy. The coalition aims to train one million people for skilled-trade careers by 2035, including plumbers and other construction-related occupations. The initiative is intended to address the national skilled-labor shortage through training investments, public-perception efforts and shared progress metrics, building on Lowe's existing Gable Grants program.
