Mastercard and BMO launched embedded commercial payments that allow eligible corporate-card clients to generate and manage virtual cards within ERP, procurement, accounts-payable, and travel-management software. The capability uses Mastercard’s In Control for Commercial Payments technology and is available to businesses in Canada and the United States. BMO is the first Mastercard issuer in Canada to provide this integrated enterprise-software payment experience, expanding Mastercard’s indirect commercial-payments distribution through a major banking partner.
