MCDONALDS CORP · 2026-11-06 · Importance 49 · Surprise 32 · No source text

Consolidated operating income increased 7% to $3.595 billion in the third quarter and 7% to $9.887 billion in the first nine months of 2026; excluding restructuring-related charges, increases were 8% and 7%, respectively. Operating margin for the nine months increased to 47.6% from 46.5%, while non-GAAP operating margin increased to 48.3% from 47.2%. Higher sales-driven franchised margins and higher Other operating income across all segments supported operating income growth; nine-month results were partly offset by higher SG&A in International Developmental Licensed Markets & Corporate. Higher Other operating income was the primary driver of the increase in non-GAAP operating margin.
