Mosaic’s phosphate production was constrained by unusually high sulfur prices and limited sulfur availability. The disruptions reduced phosphate volumes and forced production curtailments in the United States and Brazil, while higher ammonia and other raw-material costs increased pressure on the business. Mosaic secured more favorable sulfur supply prices and is preserving the ability to ramp production back up when supply conditions improve.
