Mosaic completed the sale of its Carlsbad, New Mexico potash mine on April 30, 2026 for a $20 million purchase price subject to adjustment, plus a $10 million deferred payment payable from 2029 through 2031. The transaction generated approximately $2 million of cash proceeds and a $6.2 million second-quarter impairment loss. Mosaic committed in March 2026 to divest the Araxá mining and chemical complex in Brazil and idle related mining activities at Patrocínio. The Araxá and Patrocínio actions produced approximately $482 million of six-month expense, including a $232.6 million Araxá held-for-sale impairment and $159 million of contract, asset, inventory, severance and other charges.
