MPLX is expanding gas-processing, NGL, fractionation and pipeline infrastructure across the Permian and Marcellus basins. Secretariat I, a 200 MMcf/d Delaware Basin gas-processing plant, entered service in April 2026, while Harmon Creek III adds 300 MMcf/d of gas processing and 40 mbpd of de-ethanization capacity in the Marcellus. Planned projects include Gulf Coast fractionation facilities totaling 300 mbpd and a 400 mbpd LPG export terminal at the Port of Texas City. Second-quarter operating data showed gathering throughput increasing to 6,859 MMcf/d from 6,562 MMcf/d and ethane plus NGL fractionation increasing to 680 mbpd from 634 mbpd.
